ThermiRF

What is ThermiRF?

ThermiRF utilizes a small electrode inserted under the skin to heat tissue to a clinician-selected therapeutic temperature. Studies have shown that elevating skin temperature to a therapeutic level can contract collagen molecules and stimulate collagen production, which can help lifting and tighten skin.

How it Works

With ThermiRF, your surgeon applies a controlled amount of thermal energy to the targeted tissue. The tip of the tiny probe provides constant feedback of the actual temperature during treatment, while an infrared camera is used to monitor skin temperature to ensure that your treatment is both safe and effective. This energy heats fat cells, which causes the skin to tighten, eliminating wrinkles and frown lines! And Dr. Sieveking can perform this treatment in as little as one hour, with very minimal downtime or discomfort.
After a ThermiRF procedure has been performed, the targeted fat cells drain though the lymphatic system, eventually being excreted through waste. Depending on each individual patient, multiple treatments may be needed before the ideal look is achieved. It’s important to remember, however, that it may take anywhere between three to six months before the maximum results are achieved, so patients shouldn’t expect overnight or immediate results.

Benefits of ThermiRF

ThermiRF is perfect for patients who want an effective one-time treatment with little downtime and long-lasting results. It can be performed on multiple areas on the body. ThermiRF is also excellent for “in between” patients, as it serves a middle-ground between injectable and surgical procedures. ThermiRF provides patients with a non-toxin alternative to injectable neurotoxins like Botox, and it functions as an option for patients who aren’t quite ready for invasive surgery. Thanks to the technology of ThermiRF, patients can now receive the exact treatment they require in a few simple and quick treatment appointments at our office.
